To make a half double crochet / half treble crochet decrease we are going to start the stitch as normal.
- Yarn over – insert hook in the next stitch – yarn over again and pull it out through the stitch – we will have 3 loops on the hook (photo 1).
- Now, keeping these 3 loops on the hook, we are going to repeat the steps we did before in the next stitch – we will have 5 loops on the hook (photo 2).
- Yarn over again and pull it through all 5 loops, closing the stitch (photo 3).
